In this Harbor Island home we took attributes from our Spanish Grandmother to help give the home some character. The walls were originally brown with several pillars scattered throughout and tile flooring. We painted all the walls bright white, highlighting the archways, and changed the tile flooring to dark hardwood downstairs and chose a seagrass carpet for the entire upstairs, making the bedrooms cozy and clean. The family had great furniture, which we restored and reupholstered to fit the new style and kept the families personal items scattered (in an orderly way) throughout.
